2021 CTLA: Sharing Teaching Practices with the Middlebury Teaching & Learning Knowledge Base

2021 CTLA: Sharing Teaching Practices with the Middlebury Teaching & Learning Knowledge Base

Join Sarah Lohnes Watulak for the launch of the Middlebury Teaching & Learning Knowledge Base, an online repository of teaching ideas contributed by Middlebury faculty, for Middlebury faculty. With the Knowledge Base, faculty can: share a teaching activity, strategy, or approach that works in your classes; find teaching ideas submitted by colleagues; and grow existing teaching ideas by adding your own experiences and resources.

In this session, after a brief introduction to the Middlebury Teaching & Learning Knowledge Base website, we’ll pair up participants to “interview” each other about their teaching, in order to generate ideas that can be added to the Knowledge Base. There will be time at the end of the session to add your ideas into the Knowledge Base website. Your participation in the session will help to seed the Knowledge Base with teaching ideas that you and your colleagues can use and build on.

This session is part of the 2021 Contemporary Teaching in the Liberal Arts series.
